RUBIX HUMAN

Life is filled wit' riddles never meant to be solved
Better seen, and not heard...left behind to dissolve
Into a long lost part of our minds
But its inescapable beauty leaves us frozen in time
So we approach and try to make contact
Divin' in head first, when we need to take a step back
And analyze the operation...pick it apart
Use our mind as a shield and wield it to protect our heart
Cuz in life, heart leads us through life's many transitions
And to me, it's about your heart and aspiration, and not your ambition
But these thoughts don't matter as we throw caution to the wind
Cuz urges and lust lead us to that which is forbidden
So we proceed, cuz the excitement of somethin' new is so tempting
We let our guard down and, sooner or later, a comfort starts to set in
Now that riddle we're still tryin' to solve, begins to solve us
And those early feelings become lost, like Moses in Exodus
Feelings that at first we thought could never be felt towards another
Begin to be our undoing, cuz we left our heart uncovered
Nas once said that sleep is the cousin of death, and now I see
That love must be on the next branch of that family tree
But no matter how many times I fall, I can't ignore
That I'm a glutton for punishment, and I'll be back for more
Life is filled with riddles, but I'm willin' to bet
That none are more confusing......than the opposite sex
